Moncler, an Italian fashion brand known for its high-end winter apparel, is teaming up with Adidas to present “The Art of Explorers”.
The Art of Explorers
The Art of Explorers showcases AI-generated adventures, mixed media sculptures, and an NFT collection. It offers an immersive digital experience designed to challenge the distinction between real humans and artificial intelligence.
This is achieved by displaying sculptures alongside individuals sporting various appearances. These sculptures are crafted by popular artists, such as Kate Tabor, Gary Card, and Ibby Njoya.
Human models, styled by Ai Kamoshita, had makeup and accessories done by Isamaya Ffrench, and hair by Shirori Takahashi. The photographs of the sculptures were taken by Hanna Moon.
Ffrench explained that the concept was to create avatars inspired by the collection’s clothing. She mentioned that they used transparent plastic masks, airbrushed colors, and reflective materials for shapes, colors, and textures.
Takahashi explained that the purpose had been to create a look that connected the real world and AI world. She achieved this by focusing on shapes, texture, and colors for each hair look, highlighting the distinction in each avatar.
The Explorer: Digital and Physical Collectibles
The Explorer is a limited-edition digital adaptation of the Moncler x Adidas Originals NMD boot. There are 3,000 NFTs available, but all have been claimed now. Those who own the “Drips” version of Adidas ALTS NFTs will receive one as an airdrop.
The physical edition of the collection is already on the market. It was launched in the brands’ stores on October 4. Also, the edition was launched in other stores on October 5. These exciting apparel and footwear items can be found on Moncler, Adidas, and in a few boutiques.

Final Words
Moncler and Adidas have both delved into the Web3 space in the past. For instance, Moncler celebrated its 70th anniversary with 1070 NFTs inspired by the iconic Maya jacket. On the other hand, Adidas is a long time player in the space by boasting collaborations with BAPE, Fewocious, and Pharell.
As these giants continue to explore the possibilities of Web3 and fashion, we eagerly anticipate their future projects.
