Gala Games, a GameFi project, recently revealed a partnership with PokerGO, a poker streaming platform based in Las Vegas. Together, they are set to introduce a cutting-edge Web3 social poker game called PokerGO Play.
This exciting collaboration will allow users to elevate their gaming experience by enhancing and upgrading their in-game players. Additionally, players will have the chance to redeem real-world prizes.
The beta testing phase for PokerGO is scheduled for June, and the game is expected to have its full release later this year.
PokerGO and Its Progress
In May 2022, PokerGO introduced an exclusive set of 1,326 Genesis NFTs. These NFTs were meticulously crafted to represent every conceivable starting hand combination in the game of Texas Hold’em. The collection has gained popularity, with approximately 52 Ether worth of tokens being exchanged and a minimum price of 0.1 ETH set for each token.
Apart from their inherent value, the NFT holders were offered a range of exciting benefits. These perks encompass enticing opportunities, such as the chance to win cash prizes, acquire memorable collectibles, and obtain merchandise linked to their specific hand, mainly when their hand played a crucial role in winning moments. This added an extra layer of engagement and excitement for those fortunate enough to possess these unique NFTs.
Renowned poker expert Maria Ho has officially joined as the inaugural ambassador for PokerGO Play, contributing to the exciting launch of the game. Alongside other celebrity avatars, players can embody Maria Ho’s persona and engage in the immersive virtual poker experience.
