Mythical Games’ CEO to source for $50 million from potential Dubai investors

Mythical Games has announced its plans to raise $50 million in a bid to further develop its presence in the Web3 gaming industry. To accomplish this goal, CEO John Linden has traveled to meet the gaming studio’s prospective investors in Dubai.

The funding round is not the only thing the game developer has in mind to expand its presence in the industry. It has also revealed the launch of a new marketplace known as Mythical Marketplace 2.0

John Linden stated about this marketplace:

“Mythical’s Marketplace 2.0 was designed to not only enhance our platform but, more importantly, improve the player experience and set the standard for the future of gaming.’’

This comes after the studio acquired DMarket, a marketplace that offers virtual player skins and NFTs.

The new marketplace is a product of technologies from both Mythical Games and DMarket. Mythical Marketplace 2.0 uses the studio’s L1 Ethereum Virtual Machine network and operates on Mythos’ native currency, MYTH.
