METU Blockchain Community is an Ankara-based -the capital city of Turkey- student community of Middle East Technical University. This amazing community will present an amazing event about the field called Blockchain Days at the end of the month! As a participating company, we would like to share the details of Blockchain Days.
About Blockchain Days
Blockchain Days will gather Web3 fans together for discussing significant subjects, like cryptocurrencies, DAOs, NFTs, DeFi, and so on. It will be held on December 23-24, and the event venue is the Congress Culture Center in METU, Ankara, Turkey.
Paribu Hub, Avalanche Foundation, TOGG, GEAR Technologies, and many other companies are among the important supporters of the event. Also, the participation from leading universities in Turkey and the world, such as METU, Stanford University, and Bilkent University, is on the carpet.
What awaits you at Blockchain Days?
First of all, important topics from the field will be covered at the event. For instance, you will get the chance of listening to panel discussions about Web3 regulations, decentralized finance, cryptocurrencies, Metaverse, GameFi, and so on. The panels will involve valuable and successful experts in the field, like Emin Gün Sirer, the founder and CEO of Ava Labs. Also, the co-founder of NFT Horizon, Ulaşcan Deniz Genç, will talk about the subject of ‘’Mass Adoption of Blockchain via GameFi and Metaverse’’ in a Dec 24 panel. Furthermore, known industry leaders from Turkey, such as Baki Er from Lytera, Doruk İşmen from dYdX Turkey, Han Tüzün from NeufiHQ, Alp Işık from Enclave Markets, and Turan Sert are among the speakers at the panel discussions.
In addition to great panels, there will be various competitions. For instance, you can participate in the NFT competition organized by TOGG during Blockchain Days. The winner of the competition will get a TOGG test drive as a reward! These competitions will be decorated with the opportunity to network during networking hours, workshops, and so on.
Lastly, we want to mention that there will be a Christmas Party with the concept of Zero-Knowledge on December 24!
