Cathie Wood is a prominent American businesswoman and investor who is the founder and CEO of ARK Invest. Wood is known for her optimistic and forward-looking views on disruptive technologies, particularly in robotics, artificial intelligence, and genomics. 

Before founding ARK Invest, Wood held various positions on Wall Street, including as chief investment officer of Global Thematic Strategies at AllianceBernstein
