Huobi, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its interesting initiative called Mars Program.

The plan aims to venture into the vast expanse of the universe by embarking on an extraterrestrial voyage. Huobi endeavors to surpass the boundaries no other cryptocurrency platform has ever dared to breach, inviting its users to join this unprecedented cosmic exploration.

Tron’s founder, Justin Sun, claimed the platform’s goals are to “reach out far into the universe”. The Huobi Advisory Board member emphasized that Huobi would take the lead in venturing into the Web3 field’s space exploration. This mission confirms the company’s dedication to innovation and exploration, supported by its financial strength.

The Huobi Mars Program

From June 2023 to June 2024, Phase I of the Huobi Mars Program will be in progress, comprising 12 rounds. Each round will organize a themed activity where participants can accomplish specific tasks and create space-themed NFTs. Their use in verifying ownership of digital artwork has gained increasing attention. Each round will reward and shortlist one fortunate participant as a potential candidate for the space trip. 

In Phase II, the physical fitness, training, preparation, and community contribution of these 12 candidates will be assessed to select the ultimate passenger for a unique space expedition with Justin Sun.

This program’s launch is intended to compete with the distinctive features offered by major exchanges. Building on OKX expeditions’ success within the sports ecosystem, Huobi now presents an additional solution for retaining long-term users.

By completing specific tasks on the Huobi platform, such as spot trading, P2P transactions, futures trading, and Huobi Earn transactions, participants can earn the privilege of creating their space-themed NFTs. There is no limit to the number of NFTs they can mint. 

These unique digital assets will be issued on the TRON Network, making them tradable across various NFT platforms. The inaugural round of this event began on June 14, at 12:00 UTC, and it will conclude on July 5, 2023, at 15:59 UTC.
