Delabs Games, the developer behind Rumble Racing Star, has recently concluded a seed investment round, securing an impressive $4.7 million.
The round was primarily led by Hashed Ventures with additional participation from Spartan Labs, Polygon Labs, the blockchain gaming startup Planetarium, and the gaming-focused decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) Merit Circle.
The fundraising announcement follows closely after the exclusive testing event for Rumble Racing Star. Additionally, the company has plans for two more projects which are a space survival game called Space Frontier and Meta Bolts, a whimsical post-apocalyptic survival game.
All proceeds will support community projects, marketing, and game development for Rumble Racing Star, Space Frontier, and Meta Bolts. Delabs Games focuses on creating games on the Polygon blockchain.
Simon Seojoon Kim, the CEO of Hashed Ventures, who spearheaded the investment round, emphasized the importance of merging an experienced development team from the conventional gaming industry and unique intellectual properties (IPs) into the Web3 ecosystem. This collaboration aims to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience, empowering players with genuine digital ownership and complete control over their in-game assets.

As the parent firm, they successfully released well-known mobile games, like Boxing Star, Battle Boom, and Eroica.
Although Space Frontier and Meta Bolts do not have specific release dates yet, Rumble Racing Star will be available later this year. In addition to these games, the company has previously introduced an Adventure Pass NFT on the Ethereum blockchain.
