Global leading virtual file-sharing platform, WeTransfer, has announced its collaboration with Minima to create an empowerment solution for NFT creators.

About WeTransfer

WeTransfer is a cloud-based file transfer platform allowing users to send and receive large files up to 2GB for free. The platform is widely used for creative work, such as graphic design, music production, and video editing, where sharing high-resolution files is common. The platform was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In addition to its core file transfer service, WeTransfer also offers a premium version called WeTransfer Plus that allows users to send files up to 20GB and provides additional features, such as password protection and expiration dates. Moreover, it offers an API that allows developers to integrate its services into their applications. The company has a strong focus on privacy and security, and all files are encrypted during transfer to protect sensitive information.

About Minima Network

Minima uses a hybrid consensus mechanism that combines elements of proof-of-stake (PoS) and proof-of-work (PoW) to achieve fast and secure transaction processing. One of the key features of Minima is its low energy consumption compared to other PoW-based blockchains. This is achieved through the use of a novel consensus mechanism that allows for the majority of nodes to validate transactions without the need for intensive computational work.

By leveraging both PoS and PoW, the “only mobile-native Layer 1” network can benefit from the security and decentralization of PoW while also allowing for fast and efficient transaction processing through PoS.

A revolutionary partnership to empower NFT creators

By allowing users to create NFTs directly from their smartphones, this partnership will offer users absolute control over how to distribute their virtual assets and competently collect revenue on these creations.

In the announcement made by Minima on February 7th, the partnership will utilize Minima’s ultra-lean blockchain protocol that will allow people to execute a complete “constructing and validating node.” About 180 countries are set to enjoy NFTs that will be set up on the Minima blockchain which promises self-sovereignty and data privacy.
