The IP entertainment company of David Maisel, Mythos Studios, has revealed a 1/1 handcrafted NFT art project.

The Ekos Genesis Art Collection was developed on the Ethereum blockchain. It includes art pieces by famous comic book illustrators Michael Turner and Peter Steigerwald. Turner’s last project were Fathom and the Ekos. Unfortunately, he could not release the project before dying of bone cancer in 2008. Now, fans of the late comic book artist can look at characters from the comic book in the Ekos Genesis collection.

Other artworks in the NFT collection were inspired by comic books, films, the 70’s black light posters, and the 90’s silver foil covers in the Marvel franchise. Some pieces also reflect the Pop Art movement, Broadway’s signature neon lights, and gold and diamond grails peculiar to Web3.

The founder of Marvel Studios, David Maisel, stated about the collection:

“We’ve worked so hard to create this Ekos Genesis Art Collection, and we’re now extremely excited to give people a chance to own this Ekos-inspired 1-of-1 original hand-crafted digital art. This wouldn’t be possible without Web3.”

The Ekos Genesis collection is on the Ekos Genesis Art Gallery’s website. The artworks will be auctioned on May 2 at 10 am PT. To avoid bidding wars, bids will begin at enormous prices and gradually reduce until someone makes a bid.

Pre-auction for the NFT collection started on April 24 at 10 am PT. Mythos Studios has revealed a reward for top collectors.

995 pieces in the collection will be available for auction. The starting mint value for these NFTs is 10 ETH. A total of 20 Ekos Genesis artworks will be reserved for the project’s partners and investors.

Collectors who deposit at least 10 ETH by May 1 are guaranteed to own at least one 1/1 original Ekos Genesis digital art. However, this offer stands as long as all 995 artworks in the Ekos Genesis Art collection are not sold out.

Early collectors will be gifted an Ekos Genesis Art portrait. Only 100 of these 1/1 handcrafted portraits are available in supply.

The first 100 collectors to deposit 10 ETH will have access to the Early Collector Bonus. The portraits will be disbursed in the order of deposits. A maximum of 5 digital art portraits can be sent to a wallet.
