Dove is participating in a trend that we have seen more of lately; mixing real-life assets with digital collectibles. The company launched an NFT campaign to help people, women specifically, to take better care of their hair and promote their own brand through doing so. The campaign will choose ten lucky women through a random draw to win these utility NFTs. Dove partnered with a decentralized autonomous organization called KlimaDAO. KlimaDAO includes a handful of environmentalists, developers, and entrepreneurs promoting carbon neutrality.
“We’re using NFTs to drive brand messaging and, in turn, reward our consumers with long-term utility,” says Unilever’s global media lead for Metaverse and Web3 Amanpreet Singh. “Beyond marketing, we see next-gen technologies like NFTs as a gateway to open new possibilities of consumer engagement and brand advocacy through limited edition packs, gamification, and loyalty programs built with blockchain-backed benefits.” he then adds.
Dove Pakistan is looking to normalize damaged hair as a common issue it is. The company wants to help its customers feel better about themselves by giving them the chance to win free visits to the salon to get an extensive hair treatment. In addition to a year’s supply of Dove shampoo to aid them with their hair treatment journey.
The ten women to win the draw will be sent an NFT to their email addresses, making the entire process easier for them. Dove seeks to make Web3 simpler for new users with little or no experience.
Anyone within Pakistan may enter the ongoing competition for a chance to win. The final date for participation will be the 5th of December.
the Dove NFT competition is an intricate and excellent way to introduce NFTs and the Web3 space to the masses all the while giving hung rewards that people might dearly benefit from.
