Hollywood actors Danny Trejo, Mena Suvari, and Emilio Rivera will feature as special guest stars in the upcoming RZR series!
About RZR
In a dystopian LA with hints of underworld crime and new technologies, RZR is a Web3 series by David Bianchi. Bianchi is perhaps best known for his role as Detective Marco Furey in the TV series “Pretty Little Liars”.
In RZR, the actor takes the role of Grimm, a decorated soldier and engineer who uses neural implants to modify his body to access the web. According to Bianchi, the series came up in a conversation with the COO of Gala Film, Sarah Buxton. Soon after talks in the summer of 2022, the producer began working on the script with Daniel J. Pico and minting two RZR drops.
RZR Series To Feature Trejo, Suvari, and Rivera
Some of Trejo’s most notable film roles include “Machete” in the “Machete” film series, “Desperado”, “From Dusk Till Dawn”, “Con Air”, “Heat”, and “Spy Kids”.
Suvari has appeared in “American Pie”, “Loser”, “Six Feet Under”, and “Chicago Fire”.
Rivera has worked in “Sons of Anarchy”, “CSI: Miami’’, “ER”, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’’, and “Z Nation”.
The filming process has ended, and the series is now in the post-production phase. It will feature eight episodes and will premiere in July on the Gala Film platform. There are currently talks to release the series on different mainstream video platforms after its premiere.
Although the series focuses on novel technologies, like blockchain technology, and its creators sold NFTs to create some buzz around the series, Bianchi claims the series is no different than any movie or TV production.
Unlike other Web3-driven series, viewers don’t need to own RZR NFTs to watch it. However, NFTs related to the show will be available for purchase. RZR holders will be rewarded with exclusive behind-the-scenes cuts and other prizes.
