About Catalina Whale Mixer

The NFTs in the Catalina Whale Mixer project feature whimsical depictions of whales and cats, mixed in creative and unexpected ways. Each NFT is one-of-a-kind with its own unique combination of elements, colors, and patterns. The project is built on the Ethereum blockchain, ensuring that the ownership and authenticity of each NFT are securely recorded and verifiable.

Introducing The Whales!

As stated in the announcement which came on February 8, the virtual band called The Whales will feature multi-colored whale characters from the Solana PFP collection. The digital band will perform with music from what has been regarded as “an all-star cast” of musical artists and producers.

WAGMI Beach, the developer of Catalina Whale Mixer, shared that the company’s team of veterans and professionals in the music industry will help in structuring the virtual band’s sound. The company’s CEO, Carla Fox, commented that Whale holders also contribute to the success of the project. According to Fox, these holders can have their tokenized avatars become band members via an upcoming audition.

Carla Fox also stated:

“Instead of it just being like four guys in their garage that are deciding what it is, it’s like this community of all these people determining the direction that it goes.’’

Hence, all holders of Catalina Whale Mixer NFTs are involved in The Whales project. The CEO has informed the community to expect bright and lively music from The Whales. The virtual band’s working album has been dubbed A Compilation of Vibes and is inspired by music from musical legends, such as Pharrell Williams.

The Whales

The co-founder of WAGMI Beach, Ben Willis, reported that the partnership had been in the works for a while and there were a lot of obstacles to overcome to create a collaboration between the renowned hip-hop music label and a Web3 firm.

The Whales are expected to release their first music this summer. Their sound will be made available on traditional platforms, as well as musical NFTs. There are also plans for the digital band to perform in the metaverse and real-world concerts and musical festivals.
